AU Setting » Harry goes missing

Instead of Harry saving Dumbledore he is dragged under and goes missing while Dumbledore dies on the rock in the cave. Summer passes and no one hears from the Boy Who Lived. Months into the new semester of their 7th year Ron and Hermione stumble across Harry in the Astronomy tower who looks confused to see them. Being severely memory wiped Harry has forgotten all the information about Horcruxes and his previous life at Hogwarts. Ron and Hermione vigorously attempt to restore his memories but don’t know if he’ll ever be the same again. Desperate Harry tries collecting memory viles from anyone and everyone to restore what he has lost and to find out who he really is all over again.
